Priyanka PradhanPriyanka, originally from Barrington, IL, is a medical student in the Feinberg Class of 2022. She attended UC Berkeley and received her bachelors degrees in 2018 in Anthropology and Integrative Biology. While there, she worked with various health education organizations, where she developed an interest in the important role that health-centered education has in promoting preventative healthcare. At Feinberg, Priyanka has conducted research on the evolutionary tradeoff in the pregnant gut microbiome, spearheaded sustainability-in-healthcare efforts through Physician Students for Social Responsibility, and is currently working with a project examining the confection rates of Hepatitis B and HIV in Nigeria. In her free time, she loves biking, reading, going to local concerts, and walking along the Chicago lakeshore.
