Lurie Mobile Health provides healthcare services delivered by Lurie Children’s physicians and allied health professionals directly to Chicago communities, by working out of an easily accessible mobile unit. In the first phase of the project, Second Opinions helped program leadership understand and align the priorities of their internal team, community stakeholders, and specialty partners. Additionally, the Second Opinions team created case studies on exemplary mobile health programs across the country to share with the Lurie team.
The second phase of the project focused on using the findings of phase one to craft a 5-year growth strategy and developing a plan for implementation. The team recommended the prioritization of specific service offerings and initiatives, and developed an initial framework for future partnerships. Using the previously developed case studies, the team generated a cohesive near- and long-term approach to growing the mobile health program.
