Ariel Silverman

Ariel was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended Brown University, where she earned a degree in Health and Human Biology, while running on the track and cross country teams. Throughout college, she gained various public health and healthcare experiences in places such as the Bronx as well as Kenya. Getting exposure to these different healthcare systems and settings and the inequities and disparities that existed within and between them inspired her to get a better understanding of how healthcare systems operate. In particular, she is passionate about how interventions at various levels can play a role in increasing healthcare accessibility and sustainability.  After graduating, she went on to pursue consulting at McKinsey & Company in New York in further pursuit of this mission, before ultimately attending medical school.
